You’re 18 months old today. Can you believe that you have lived one and a half years of your life already! I know I can’t. Everyday you will surprise me with something new or make me laugh with your happy chappy personality.
You have taught me what life is really about. I never knew this different perspective of life until i met you and your dad!
Over the past couple of days you have started running, feeding yourself independently, copying more sounds and words, talking more and of course you scream more! You don’t cry with that tiny innocent newborn voice anymore, you actually SCREAM! But what child doesn’t scream? Haha.
One of our favourite things to do lately has been going on lovely strolls to the park. You love the walk there and having loads of space around you to play and just be you!
I have been going through some photo’s lately and I noticed how much you’ve changed; from a baby to a little lady. Your hairs growing like crazy and i find that I’m struggling with keeping your hair nice and neat everyday because you yell at me every single time.
There’s nothing I can do to keep you from growing up, and i’m finally accepting it. By the time you are reading this I will probably still be accepting it.
I love that you are part of our family, and i’m super excited to see where life takes us. We are trying to move into a bigger house at the moment. We would love to give you some brother’s and sister’s to grow up with and cherish. We want to buy a home by the time your 5. Daddy’s dream right now is to go down to Goulburn for 8 months and come back home a Police Officer. And I want to start up a really successful business over the next couple of years.
We want you to grow up being proud of us, just like how proud we are of you.
This is you and grandad picking nuts off the tree. You loved when grandad would shake it and they all fell on your head!
At your cousin Lachlan’s 2nd Birthday you really came out of your shell. Something i didn’t think would happen for ages. You have stopped being so shy around people and you were interacting with the kids and adults. You were even opening Lachlan’s presents for him. I love watching you blow people kisses and wave to them. It’s such a heartwarming feeling a mama feels!
Thank you so much for everything you do for me and your daddy. We love you endlessly.
Love always, Mummy xx
